Innovations in 3D Technology

Students have had opportunities to learn how to design and create 3D objects using software and our 3D printer. This has underpinned learning in both literacy and numeracy.

3D Virtual Worlds

Students participate in the Quest Atlantis 3D Virtual World environment to support their literacy, numeracy, science and cybersafety understanding. Students are benefitting from learning in this type of online environment as they are able to collaborate with peers and also other users from around the world in a controlled and safe educational environment.

Students are also honing their building, problem-solving, collaborative and critical thinking skills through Minecraft. Teachers are using Minecraft to support learning specifically in integrated studies and have found it to be an excellent way for students to learn about harsh environments and the survival of species.
