I welcome the opportunity to introduce you to Concord School.
Concord School, with 130 teaching and educational support staff, has a current enrolment of more than 460 students across two campuses.
Concord School is an innovative and dynamic school that is highly regarded for its educational programs, outstanding facilities and highly skilled staff. The school improves outcomes for students through a curriculum that focuses on the learning of academic, technological and social skills. The goal for our students is ‘to be the best I can be’ with the objective of maximising the independence of each student through the delivery of an age appropriate and personalised curriculum.
Concord School’s facilities and resources ensure that students are provided with an optimal learning environment. The facilities include a Discovery Centre, Performing Arts Centre/Gymnasium, landscaped gardens and synthetic grass ovals and playground spaces. Each classroom has electronic whiteboard technology and each student has access to a notebook and iPad computer.
Student achievement and student wellbeing are the fundamental pursuits of our school. Given sufficient support and challenge, all students will learn and succeed regardless of their disability or personal circumstances. Concord School expects that students will develop respect for others and achieve personal excellence. The students experience success and their achievements are celebrated promoting increased self-confidence.
